Colorado Legislative School Safety Committee Hearing

July 11, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Colorado legislature has started an interim “School Safety Committee” in light of the tragic STEM School shooting. This committee will be meeting outside of the regular legislative session, and consists of four democrats and four republicans, as well as a panel of “experts” who will have been invited to speak. These meetings will be at the Capitol in the Old State Library, and are open to the public. They will not be taking public comment although there is a spot on the web page linked where ANYONE can submit public comment. Access that here: http://www.leg.state.co.us/CLICS/cslFrontPages.nsf/SS.xsp

The gun grabbers intend to fill these meetings, as part of what they will be discussing will undoubtedly be next year’s gun control legislation. It is critical that as many people who care about ensuring our kids are safe and protected in schools, while also maintaining our rights, to attend and observe. We will also be live streaming. If you can make it, please put these dates/times on your calendar. The gun grabbers can no longer be the only voice in this conversation!

August 20 – 9:00 a.m.
